The Texas Forensic Science Commission, whose review of the controversial case of Cameron Todd Willingham was delayed when Perry replaced all of his appointees on the commission, has scheduled a Jan. 29 meeting in Harlingen.

Only one commission member lives anywhere close to the meeting location (Norma Farley in McAllen), and they happen to be one of Perry's new appointees.
The others will all have a several-hour trip. Even traveling to Harlingen's airport by airplane will still be a horrid process.
